Covered Indoor Ski Slopes Snow Arena | Futuristic Ski Resort
The Geodomas team, in collaboration with its partners, presents an innovative solution for covering ski slopes – a unique, circular ski slope designed for luxury class, which allows for extending the slope length and creating a natural spiral descent. These domes connect into a complex, forming a distinctive architectural solution specifically developed for a project planned to be built in Israel.
Structure and Benefits of Ski Resorts
Ski resorts are specially developed for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports. In Europe, most ski resorts are towns or villages located adjacent to ski trails and lift systems. In North America, it is more common for ski areas to be located far from towns, so ski resorts are often purpose-built and self-contained, where skiing is the main activity.
Benefits of Geodomas Domes
-
Efficient Coverage and Durability:
- Geodomas domes allow for efficient coverage of large areas, providing maximum comfort and durability. Their structure ensures excellent resistance to various natural conditions such as strong winds, snow, and rain.
-
Low Operating Costs:
- Geodesic domes are economical and require lower costs both during construction and operation compared to traditional building methods.
-
Energy Efficiency:
- The multi-layered wall and glamping technology of the domes allow for insulating the dome like a thermos, thus maintaining the required temperature and reducing energy costs.
-
Natural Lighting:
- Transparent surfaces allow natural light to enter, creating a bright and pleasant environment, ideally suited for various events and activities.
-
Quick Construction and Installation:
- Geodomas domes are lightweight and quickly assembled, ensuring a short project execution time and allowing rapid utilization of the newly created infrastructure.
-
Versatility and Adaptability:
- Domes can be used as permanent or temporary structures. They are perfect for various activities, from sports and entertainment to commercial events.
Technical Data and Planning
The project’s technical data includes the ski slope length (e.g., 420 meters), recommended slope inclination (e.g., 18%), and height difference (e.g., 52 meters). The dome structure allows for the integration of various facilities such as stands, changing rooms, and more.
We manufacture and assemble various types of façades, roofs, structures, buildings and their elements. We prepare partial work plans for the façade, whole system, construction approvals (documents), waterproofing and condensation solutions.
The elements of the structures come pre-fabricated and assembled on site. Before mounting the structure, engineers study the installation process. We take full responsibility for the manufacturing of the necessary systems and materials for the project.
Energy Performance Certificates present the energy efficiency of dwellings on a scale of A to G (newly constructed buildings will have to correspond to class A). Domes fire rating of Class A or Class B roof.
We calculate static loads, prepare technical and work projects. We can install, help to organize the arrangement or to deliver the assembled technology of our designed or produced products.
We do design according to EN Euro code requirements. Documentation and drawings can be translated into other languages.

AMBICIUOS PROJECTS
2 large pools of Tbilisi Sea Club get water supply from Tbilisi reservoir itself. In fact this facility is simply the best organised corner or a peninsula at so called Tbilisi Sea. A small pool for children and a toboggan are also available. Admission for children younger than 6 is free.
Fulldome cinema has become increasingly popular in recent years because advances in projection technology and dome construction have made fulldome cinema more accessible to a broader range of applications.
The specificities of resort projects may give rise to certain issues and may require possible adjustments during the implementation process to take account of actual on-site conditions which cannot be foreseen. Traditional Icelandic culture meets modern standards in a way you have never seen before.
Imagine a dream city floating in the air at an altitude of 1500 meters. This grand project is the result of collaboration between the GEODOMAS team and leading global specialists. ArmanKala is not just a building; it is a majestic structure where cutting-edge technology, sustainable development, and comfort merge.
Geodomas domes for sports arenas and stadiums are innovative and practical solutions designed for long-term use and maximum convenience. They create large, open, and safe spaces that adapt to various needs and conditions. Domes distribute loads evenly and are highly resistant to natural elements such as wind, rain, and snow. Under one spherical roof, you can accommodate fields, seating, and auxiliary facilities, ensuring optimal space utilization. Dome construction and operation require fewer resources compared to traditional building methods. These domes are suitable for various sports and events, easily adaptable for both outdoor and indoor settings, ensuring maximum comfort and durability.
The dome is placed VO3DUH Àrt in part of the garden which is artistically organized an open-air space with a stationary scene. The area is located in the park area and is designed for performances, concerts, festivals, parties, theatrical performances, etc.
Our team actively participated in the development of EXPO 2017, starting from 2012, working on the concept. We were the first to present solutions to the EXPO committee, which later became the basis of the „EXPO 2017” project.
